Meet Me

Hey there! My name is Krysta Hutchens and I live on the Iron Range in northern Minnesota and I am very proud of it!

I have had my small business selling fishing and unique themed jewelry and other fun items since 2020. During this time, I have enjoyed creating pieces that are as cute as they are unique.  There is so much joy to be had seeing folks get excited to wear bobber earrings or to wear a necklace with a “charm” that I picked out in the ice fishing aisle.  Its tough not to smile at the flabbergasted double takes and giggles when craft fair goers notice that not only are the earrings made out of spinner blades, but the earring display is a minnow trap.  Those people who have eccentric style and do not believe in “fitting in” are my kind of people.    

I really lucked out when I met my husband who loves being in nature and believes that a six hour road trip is a day trip.  We have full time jobs that keep us busy during the week, and we wrangle 3 of the cutest pets ever: Lightning, the turtle, Daisy, the basset hound, and Ember, the tabby cat when we are home.  We are professionally average at many hobbies including but not limited to hiking, skiing/snowboarding, biking, cooking/baking, camping, boxing (just kidding we only tried this once), fixing up our project vehicle- Hummer, and crocheting) but masters of none which generally lends its helpful hand in some memorable stories to be shared which was my inspiration to start a blog. When activities are done with love and with your partner in crime, it is hard not to want to share our adventures. 

Documenting and photographing our weekend warrior style shenanigans has been something I have always done on my personal Facebook page in a haphazardly written post and with 80+ pictures. Here is my attempt to refine my writing and photography skills to relay these memories in a more meaningful way. 

Those who wander through life are never really lost if they are having fun.
